"There is a political dialogue of the highest level between our countries."

APA reports that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this at the press conference on the results of the Summit of the heads of state of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan.

The minister said that with the signing of the historic Shusha Declaration between Azerbaijan and Turkey in 2021, our relations have risen to the level of strategic alliance: "At the same time, our relations with Turkmenistan are at the level of strategic partnership.

Today, there is mutually beneficial cooperation between the 3 countries at the UN, various UN agencies, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organization of Turkic States and a number of international platforms.

We have had extensive discussions in this area.

After that, we will continue our work in this direction."

The minister pointed out that the tripartite format of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan has a greater potential: "We would like to express with full confidence that the 5 documents signed today and the joint statement adopted will give a great impetus to the further development of our cooperation in the economic field."

Jeyhun Bayramov said that all three countries, our countries, have great opportunities in the fields of transport, transit, and logistics: "This year, an increase of 80% was observed in the volume of cargo transportation through Azerbaijan through both the East-West and North-South corridors.

We believe that by combining our efforts, we have the opportunity to further increase these indicators in 2023 and beyond.

Important agreements have been reached in this direction as well."
