In  Gdańsk,

Poland

, a local man saved a woman who had fallen onto the tracks and at that very moment the Intercity high-speed train was approaching the station.

This is reported by trojmiasto.pl.

The incident happened in the morning, at 6:40, at the Orunia railway station.

A young woman slipped and fell on the tracks.

At that moment, an "Intercity" train was approaching the station, moving at a speed of about 100 km/h without stopping.

A caring Pole saw this and immediately reacted and rushed to save the woman.

The man jumped off the platform, dragged the woman between the tracks.

She fainted from the fall.

"I heard that the train was leaving Gdańsk Lipce station. It was going at a speed of about 100 km/h without stopping in the direction of Gdańsk. There was no time to pull her onto the platform. I managed to drag this woman between the tracks. Only after the train passed, I pulled her onto the platform," says the Pole himself, who saved the woman.

As it turned out, a man named Yakub used to work as a machinist and was repeatedly in similar situations.

It is admitted that once a person failed.

"Fortunately, now everything was different. I was forced to react this way, because human life is the most important thing. I hope that this attitude will give others the courage to act in similar situations," says Yakub.
