Military expert Oleg Zhdanov told what can help protect against Iranian missiles.

He said this on the air of his YouTube channel.

According to the expert, Ukraine's defense against these missiles is "very weak".

"Because the number of anti-missile systems in our air defense is very small. If only these complexes were given as many as promised. Because by the end of the year, Germany promised three more IRIS-T complexes, but we still haven't seen them. We received two NASAMS complexes, and we are waiting for four more in the winter. That is why it is very difficult to protect against ballistic missiles," he explained.

According to Zhdanov, whether Iran will supply these missiles to Russia or not is debatable.

After all, everything will depend on what the West will offer Iran in terms of leverage, that is, what it will put pressure on Tehran.

"And this will depend on Iran's decision whether to transfer these missiles or not. Tehran tries to justify that it will reduce the range, but these are all fairy tales. Whether they will transfer or not, I would estimate 50/50. Russia is pressing, Iran thinks, the West is looking for ways to influence ", the expert concluded.

Earlier, military expert, pilot-instructor Roman Svitan explained that Iranian ballistic missiles Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar can be intercepted by a small number of anti-aircraft missile systems.

According to him, Ukraine has almost no means to fight these missiles.

It will be recalled that in mid-October, The Washington Post, citing sources, reported that Iran plans to transfer ballistic missiles to Russia.

However, as of December 13, there was no information that the occupiers had received these missiles.

According to expert Pavlo Narozhny, Iran will not hand over weapons to Russia if America eases sanctions.

Russian publicist and sociologist Andriy Piontkovsky is sure that Iran is under pressure in this matter not only from the West, but also from Israel, Turkey and Azerbaijan.
