[Reporter Xu Shenglun/New Taipei Report] An industrial safety accident occurred at a construction site on Zhisan Road, Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City at about 11:00 noon today. A 45-year-old worker surnamed Du accidentally slipped while performing construction work on the 10th floor and fell directly to the ground on the 1st floor. He lost his vital signs on the spot, and 119 rushed to the hospital after receiving the report, but he was still powerless in the end.
The police said that Du Nan's body is undergoing a criminal interrogation, and his family members have been notified to come to the scene. Whether there is any fault in the construction process or protective measures is still being clarified.
