About 10 million consumers were left without electricity in Ukraine, humanitarian aid was provided to more than 630 thousand people on the eve of winter.

APA reports that UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said this in a video address to the participants of the international conference organized in Paris to help Ukraine.

According to the Ukrainian government, 50 percent of the country's energy infrastructure was destroyed as a result of a missile attack by the Russian Armed Forces.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal admitted on December 9 that 40 percent of all Thermal Power Stations (HPS), Hydroelectric Power Stations (SES) and high-voltage power grid facilities were damaged to varying degrees.

For this reason, there will be restrictions on electricity consumption in the country during the winter season.

It should be recalled that at the end of last month, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated during his speech that more than 6 million subscribers were left without electricity.
