The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenka, is playing the game "not war, but a great imitation."

Military and political commentator Oleksandr Musienko stated this, Channel 24 informs.

Is Ukraine ready for an invasion?

Musiyenko notes that the Ukrainian forces on the northern border are sufficient to repel a possible attack by the number of Belarusian and Russian troops based in Belarus.

He assures that the transfer of additional reserves from other directions of the front in the event of an attack from the north is not necessary.

According to the expert, there are enough forces and means.

Various units of the Ukrainian army were trained there.

In particular, the Armed Forces, National Guard, SBU, territorial defense units, etc.

"Everything is ready to meet the enemy with dignity and prevent him from implementing his plans there," Musienko emphasized.

Will there be an invasion?

According to him, it is within the framework of this imitation that the planned rotation of Belarusian troops near the Ukrainian border takes place, which the Lukashenka regime promoted in its propaganda media.

"Everything that the Belarusian authorities are doing now: the announcement of military exercises, covert mobilization, etc. - all this has been happening since April. Lukashenko is doing this in order to report to the Russian leadership that, as it were, Belarus is taking steps towards an invasion. But that brigade, which was overrun today (103 Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade. - Ed.) with 25 armored personnel carriers is not an offensive group," the expert emphasizes.

In his opinion, in the event of a new invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this brigade would be defeated at the border in a few hours.

But from an information point of view, these maneuvers have a significant effect.

Musienko assures that there is currently no threat of a military invasion from Belarus.

He explains that the occupiers are simply pulling back the Ukrainian forces on the northern border, blackmailing them with an invasion.

Thus, they do not allow these reserves to be transferred to the south for a successful counteroffensive.

The situation in Belarus: the latest news

We will remind that the dictator Lukashenko instructed his subordinates to start checking the combat readiness of the Belarusian army.

According to military expert Petr Chernyk, such actions indicate that Putin

is raising the stakes.

In addition, the Belarusian army will arrange bridge crossings across the two rivers.

However, these rivers are located far from the Ukrainian border, so there is no need to talk about casual preparations for the offensive yet.

Russian oppositionist Mark Feigin believes that the Kremlin is seriously considering the possibility of a new attack from the north.
