Ukraine's international partners do not yet have concrete information about Russia's plans to withdraw the occupying forces from the territory of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

This was announced by Denis Shmyhal during a visit to Paris on the air of the national telethon, in the 1+1 slot.

"Regarding the release of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station: unfortunately, our partners do not have specifics yet. The Russians are still extremely difficult to treat this facility, and we understand that, like our entire land, we have to release all our facilities , all our cities. For now, there is an observation mission (IAEA. - Ed.), there is no other news as of today," said the prime minister.

Shmyhal confirmed that the IAEA is going to send permanent technical missions to all nuclear plants in Ukraine "in the near future".

He explained that such a step is extremely important from the point of view of the safety of Ukrainian nuclear power plants.

The missions are to secure the stations and record any possible shelling or sabotage by the Russian invaders.

It will be recalled that French President Emmanuel Macron announced the existence of an agreement on the withdrawal of weapons from the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

He said that negotiations are currently underway regarding the terms of the withdrawal.

Military expert Roman Svitan does not rule out the next "gesture of goodwill" by the Russian troops at the Zaporizhzhya NPP.

Previously, TSN.ua analyzed the current situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP and whether the occupiers can leave the station.
