In Lviv, a militant of the so-called "LPR" was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

The man pretended to be an immigrant and wanted to join the ranks of the Armed Forces.

The "Court Reporter" writes about it.

According to the investigation, Ruslan G., a 30-year-old native of Luhansk region, was a member of the terrorist "LPR" in 2014: he stood at roadblocks and checked cars.

He also published photos on the Vkontakte social network in which he was wearing a T-shirt with the inscription "Fair Russia" and boasted about his stay in Moscow after 2014.

There are also photos of a resident of Luhansk region in an enemy military uniform with a weapon.

In March 2022, the man moved to Lviv Oblast and registered with the Drohobytsk Military Commissariat because he was apparently going to fight for Ukraine.

However, after a thorough check, the militant was detained in Lviv.

At the court, the native of Luhansk region pleaded not guilty and stated that he was allegedly "forced to be on duty at a checkpoint, and such a military uniform could be bought at any store."

He also added that he allegedly passed an inspection at the SBU in 2016 and was rehabilitated, but the court did not have such information.

Ruslan G. convinced the court that he really wanted to fight on the side of Ukraine, and that is why he moved to Lviv Oblast at the beginning of the war.

The Galician District Court of the city of Lviv found the militant guilty of Part 2 of Art.

260 of the Criminal Code and Part 1 of Art.

258-3 of the Civil Code.

He was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

It will be recalled that a 44-year-old local woman was tried in Lviv, who wanted Russia to take over Ukraine and glorified the Russian occupiers.
