In many districts of Uttar Pradesh, nowadays there is a lot of anger among traders regarding the GST raid.

This GST raid has been imposed on traders from Noida to Gorakhpur, the city of the Chief Minister himself.

In protest against which the traders are agitating on the road after closing their shops in many cities, and in Jewar town traders also clashed with the police.

At present, in view of the anger of the traders, now after 7 days the State Commercial Tax Department has stopped this raid.

The department says that raids have been done on local information of bank transactions and tax evasion.

In this, traders who have not registered for GST have been raided.

He says that even such traders were raided who were paying less tax by doing business above the limit of registration.

On the other hand, the traders say that we sell leg mobiles, but when we go to buy goods from the above companies, then they are not giving the bills there, so what can we do?

Another businessman said that I have a restaurant, I myself am an artisan, I make and sell Biryani.

What is left in this?

On the other hand, the State Commercial Taxes Department has raided and caught traders evading tax at many places.

Many have also been fined.

But officials are shying away from talking about this survey officially.

On the other hand, Deputy Commercial Tax Officer Kuldeep Singh said that see, action is being taken against those who have not registered, rest of the businessmen need not fear.

At present, about 26 lakh traders are registered in Uttar Pradesh.

But the government estimates that the number of people doing business without registration is above 5 lakh.

Because of this, now the SGST team is conducting survey in almost all the districts.

But thousands of small businessmen are angry with the method of this survey.

Seeing the anger of the traders, the Samajwadi Party has also targeted the government by tweeting.
