12 people injured in the accident of a tourist bus near the Svilengrad village of Mladinovo remain in hospitals for treatment, reports BTA.

On Sunday, December 11, at 18:10 in the evening, the vehicle with a total of 40 people returning from Kavala, Greece to Burgas left the road on a wet surface and a sharp turn, went through the guardrail and turned sideways in a deep ravine.

A 68-year-old woman from Burgas died in the accident, and 19 were injured.

At the Multispecialty Hospital for Active Treatment in Haskovo, the teams are caring for a total of eight people, and at the Harmanli hospital, two women and two children have been accommodated, their management specified.

All are in stable condition.

Already yesterday, six patients of Svilengrad Hospital, who were admitted after the accident, were discharged.

A woman from MBAL Haskovo was also released yesterday afternoon.

In Haskovo, Health Minister Asen Medzhidiev personally visited the victims yesterday.

Also yesterday, the mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov, found out on the spot about the condition of his fellow citizens in Haskovo, Harmanli and Svilengrad.
