"MyGoPen" used the image anti-search tool to search and found the report of "New York Post" on February 9, 2022, and confirmed that the screen of the report was the same as the online video.

Based on multiple media reports, the incident was due to Canadian truck drivers organizing a protest against the mandatory vaccination order.

Gerry Charlebois, 78, honked his horn on the side of the road in solidarity.

The police questioned Charlie Bois and arrested him for "failing to provide his identity card".

Charlie Bois was not charged after the incident, but was fined by the police for making "unnecessary noise".

The Canadian government announced in October that all inbound passengers would be lifted from all entry epidemic prevention restrictions. Passengers are no longer required to be quarantined, wear masks or show PCR test and vaccination certificates. However, it is still recommended to wear masks in indoor public places.

Based on the above, MyGoPen concluded that the online video of "Canadian citizens arrested by the police for not wearing masks" is false information.
