Yesterday, a bus returning from an excursion left the road and overturned near the village of Mladinovo, killing one person and injuring many others.

The passenger bus with Burgas registration, in which 40 passengers traveled.

Krastyo Butsev and Georgi Sovadzhiev are returning from Turkey to Yambol when a man with a flashlight stops them and signals that something is happening.

"We welded the bus into the ravine.

There were people shouting and screaming.

There were even people who went out to the forest.

I called them down to the car and showed them which way to go.

After that, we directed the headlights of the cars towards the bus, placed triangles," Krastyo Butsev said on btv air.

The other rescuer, Georgi Sovadjiev, added that there was a little girl in the bus with her grandmother from Burgas, who managed to get out of the vehicle.

They are investigating the causes of the bus accident between Svilengrad and Topolovgrad

"It was very scared, shaking all over.

The situation was very complicated, the turn is very dangerous.

In the first moment, the shock and panic was very great," he added.

"Part of the seats flew through the windshield and people got out from there.

A few people were left in the bus and we helped them out.

We broke the windshield additionally with a hammer so we could make room," explained Krastyo Butsev.
