The countries of the European Union still do not have a unified position regarding the ninth package

of sanctions

against Russia.  

This was announced in Brussels on Monday, November 12, by EU High Representative Josep Borrell, Ukrinform writes.

According to him, the EU countries still have differences in their approaches to the European Commission's proposals on the package of anti-Russian sanctions, so the discussion, which will take place today within the framework of the EU Council of Foreign Ministers, promises to be intense.

"This EU Council of Ministers will be long and difficult. We have Iran on the agenda, we have sanctions against Russia on the agenda, the ninth package. We still haven't reached an agreement," Borrell said.
