Congress's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' (Congress Bharat Jodo Yatra) resumed from Bundi district of Rajasthan on Monday (December 12).

Today only women are walking with Rahul Gandhi in the yatra.

It has been named 'Nari Shakti Pad Yatra'.

Miraya Vadra, daughter of Priyanka Gandhi and Robert Vadra, also joined her maternal uncle Rahul Gandhi's visit today.

Robert and Priyanka have two children.

Rehan is bigger than him.

There is a difference of one year in the age of both.

Both the children stay away from the eyes of the media.

Both are rarely seen in public life. 

Accompanied by Congress workers and women from nearby areas and other passengers, the yatra reached the Kota-Lalsot mega highway.

Bharat Jodo Yatra started on 7 September from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu.

During this, a large number of women gathered on the streets to greet the passengers and also became part of the march.

Today i.e. Monday is the seventh day of the yatra in Rajasthan.

Its the last day in Bundi district.

Indargarh (Bundi) block president of Congress, Ajay Sharma said, 'When the yatra resumed this morning, more than five thousand women participated in the yatra along with Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi and as the yatra progressed, more and more women joined the yatra. Many women participated in it.

He told that Rahul Gandhi interacted with the pedestrians.

Kapil Yadav, co-coordinator of Bharat Jodo Yatra in the state dedicated to women empowerment


, said, the 96th day of the yatra is dedicated to women empowerment and that is why it is being called 'Nari Shakti Pad Yatra' on Monday.

Rajasthan is the only Congress-ruled state where the yatra has reached so far.

The yatra will cover a distance of about 500 kilometers in 17 days here before entering Haryana on December 21.

The Yatra started from Kanyakumari


The Bharat Jodo Yatra started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7 and has so far passed through five southern states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana and Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

This yatra will end in Jammu and Kashmir in the beginning of February.

Under the yatra, the target is to cover a distance of 3,570 kilometers in 150 days.
