A fire broke out in a shopping center on the eastern outskirts of Moscow, the Associated Press reported.

It is about a mall in Balashikha that sells building materials and furniture.

This is the second fire in a shopping center in the Moscow region within four days.

Today's started in a warehouse area, then covered part of the center building.

According to authorities, the cause was a short circuit.

80 people and 32 units of equipment are involved in fighting the fire, working in four sections of the shopping center, said Sergey Poletikin, head of the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Moscow Region, quoted by TASS.
