New Delhi:

After the defeat of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly Election Result, Union Minister Anurag Thakur has been accused by many party workers of infighting and rebellion.

Now Anurag Thakur's father and former Chief Minister PK Dhumal (PK Dhumal) has reacted to these criticisms for the first time.

Breaking his silence after his son was extensively trolled on social media, Dhumal told NDTV, "He worked day and night. I am not the reason for the rebellion in the party".

In the elections of Himachal Pradesh, BJP has been defeated in all the five seats of Anurag Thakur's Hamirpur district.

On a related question, PK Dhumal said, "We are broken by the party's defeat in Hamirpur. The party has taken the loss very seriously. The rebels were unhappy with the way the tickets were distributed. The party is seeing that How the tickets were distributed. I am not the reason for all this at all."

Taking a dig at Jairam Thakur, who lost power in the elections, he said, "Whatever happened in the last five years, I kept watching and listening silently." They won't happen again.

We have nurtured Hamirpur with our blood and sweat."

Let us tell you that in the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections, the Congress won 40 seats and secured a comfortable majority.
