India abstained from a resolution brought by America and Ireland in the United Nations Security Council.

America and Ireland had passed a proposal to exempt humanitarian aid in the banned countries.

Referring to Pakistan during the voting on the proposal, India was absent saying that the terrorist organizations of the banned country, especially its neighboring country, can get help from this resolution in collecting funds and making new restoration of terrorists.

The proposal presented by the US and Ireland requires payment of goods and services in addition to funds and other financial assets at the time of any country's humanitarian assistance and it will not be considered a violation of the Sanctions Committee and Freeze Assets imposed by the United Nations Security Council .

This proposal, presented on Friday, was supported by 14 out of 15 countries of the United Nations Security Council.

Only India remained absent.

After the resolution was passed, America said that this resolution would save the lives of countless people.

Council President and India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ruchira Kamboj, explained her country's vote, saying that "Our concerns stem from proven examples of terrorist groups taking full advantage of such humanitarian aid, and This makes a mockery of the sanctions regimes including the 1267 sanctions committee."

Kamboj also indirectly mentioned Pakistan and the terrorist organizations present on its soil.

Ruchira Kamboj, in an apparent reference to the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, said, "There have been several cases of terrorist groups in our neighbourhood, including those listed by this Council, disguising themselves as humanitarian organizations to evade these sanctions." and re-incarnated as civil society groups. Jamaat-ud-Dawa calls itself a humanitarian aid organization, but it is widely seen as a front organization for Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET). Is."

Ruchira Kamboj said, “Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation (FIF), a charitable organization run by terrorist organizations JuD and Lashkar, and Al Rehmat Trust, supported by terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), are also based in Pakistan. use the umbrella of humanitarian aid to raise funds and recruit fighters."
