Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani wrote today on Facebook that there will never be a Serbian army and police in Kosovo again, Tanjug reported.

"There will never be policemen and soldiers from Serbia on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo," she wrote, adding that it was an "open threat of aggression" and a "hegemonic dream of Serbia" that would not come true.

She also said that the attacks on Kosovo policemen and journalists are crimes and the perpetrators must be brought to justice.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Petar Petkovic said today that "the actions of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti have brought the brink of armed conflict" and expressed the view that under UN Security Council Resolution 1244, Serbia has the right to return a certain number of its troops to Kosovo.
