Hyderabad:

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi said on Thursday that the party is not disheartened by its poor performance in the Gujarat Assembly elections.

He resolved to work for strengthening the organization in this western state.

AIMIM, which is contesting the assembly elections for the first time in Gujarat, fielded its candidates in 13 seats, but did not win a single seat. Owaisi said in a video posted by the party on its official Twitter account, "The results are not arbitrary." Despite coming, AIMIM is not discouraged.

He thanked the voters who voted for the party and also said that the party respects the verdict of the people.
