"In the future, there will be no specific recommendations requiring isolation after a positive test for Covid-19," announced the National Health Agency.

In February, the country was one of the first in Europe to lift the strict restrictions imposed to contain the spread of the contagion.

But the quarantine remained in case of a positive test for the coronavirus.

The number of people hospitalized with Covid-19 in Denmark remained stable in the autumn and only a slight increase is expected in the winter thanks to the high participation rate in the booster dose campaign for people over 50 and the high immunity of the population as a whole, it says France Press.

In the country with a population of 5.9 million people, there have been nearly 3.4 million cases of infection with Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, writes BTA.

Tests are now only carried out on people with symptoms and for whom a diagnosis needs to be established to decide what treatment should be prescribed.

In case of any illness, the Danish health authorities recommend that people still stay at home.
