The city's Punjabi Bagh police station was informed about a dead body found in a suitcase in a drain near Mahatma Gandhi Camp, Road No. 77 Punjabi Bagh at around 12:36 pm on Wednesday. 

As soon as the information was received, the team of Punjabi Bagh police station reached the spot and recovered the dead body.

The dead body of an unknown woman locked in a suitcase is about 25-30 years old.

The dead body of the woman was kept in the mortuary of Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital.

The identity of the deceased has not been established yet. 

A case has been registered in this regard under FIR number 750/22 u/s 302/201 IPC.

Further investigation is underway.

Several teams are scanning the CCTV and other related aspects.
