[Reporter Liu Yuqing/Penghu Report] Dajia Zhenlan Palace Mazu made her first voyage to Penghu in 400 years, bringing more than 2,000 pilgrims to Penghu in winter. Lan Palace arrives in Peng, but the Narcissus Palace in Weili, Magong City is in charge, so it refuses to go on stage to welcome Dajia Mama, sparking discussion among believers.

For the first time in 400 years, Dajia Zhenlan Palace Mazu Sea Road toured Penghu. It was regarded as a grand event in the religious circles of Taiwan and Penghu. The Taihua Ferry carried more than a thousand believers and Mazu's holy driver. Fishing boats and speedboats greeted us in the waters outside Xiyu Island. Originally, there were only 100 boats, but because Mazu is the patron saint of fishermen and the main religious belief of Penghu fishermen, the number soared to more than 300 boats. Magong Commercial Port, which was originally deserted in winter, suddenly became lively due to the visit of Dajia’s mother. More than 40 tour buses moved into the booth ahead of time. Go to Taihua Ferry Terminal to pick up the driver. The Narcissus Palace and the Lin Clan Association in Magong City also dispatched a huge lineup to meet the driver. The sound of firecrackers continued, and believers crowded the roads around the Magong Commercial Port, presenting a lively scene that is rarely seen in Penghu in winter .

People from all walks of life in Penghu County set up a platform for offering sacrifices to the Shihu Square. The main gods of the temples in Penghu who participated in the event gathered together. The county magistrate Lai Fengwei and the speaker Liu Chen Zhaoling expressed their welcome on behalf of Penghu. Cai Guangming, the chairman of Theanhou Temple, sparked discussions among believers.

In fact, Cai Guangming was hidden among the audience. He was intercepted by the Narcissus Palace in Magong City to express his silent protest against the opening of the Tianhou Palace in Penghu, which invited Dajia’s mother to visit Penghu. Two days later, it was transferred to Penghu to open the Tianhou Temple.

For the first time in 400 years, Dajia Mazu traveled by sea to Penghu for an exchange meeting.
