The Christmas train, which will travel from Sofia to Bankya and from Bankya to Sofia with the oldest restored steam locomotive in the BDZ fleet, will once again travel the route on December 17th.

This will be possible after the extremely high interest shown in the train and numerous inquiries from those wishing to travel after the tickets for the announced journeys were sold out.

The additional course of the holiday composition will take place at 4:00 p.m. from Sofia Central Station.

The train will arrive at Bankia Station at 4:32 p.m., where travelers can be transported from one Christmas atmosphere to another by visiting the Christmas Town in the center of the resort town.

The attraction train will depart from Bankya Station back to Sofia Central Station at 5:45 p.m., where it will arrive at 6:18 p.m.

The price of the ticket for travel in both directions is BGN 35, including a reserved seat.

Children up to the age of 7 will travel for free, and a separate seat is not provided for them.

When issuing a ticket for free travel to children, it is necessary to present a document certifying their age.

BDZ reminds that children under the age of 10 must travel with a companion.
