Advisor to the President's Office, Oleksiy Arestovych, confirmed that there were indeed explosions at the airfield in occupied Berdyansk.

He said this in a conversation with Russian journalist and human rights defender Mark Feigin.

According to him, Berdyansk has been shelled for the second day in a row.

"The first blow was very productive. Three big explosions, then 20 small ones. And today (December 8 - Ed.) there was a good blow. Maybe there was another blow. Because there is no point in storing cargo in unclear places. They (occupiers - Ed.) planned to set up a rear base there and strengthen the Berdyansk direction. But it didn't work out," Arestovych noted.

We will remind that on December 8, the head of the city military administration of Berdyansk, Victoria Galitsyna, reported on the explosions at the airbase in the city.

According to her, at first three powerful explosions were heard, then 15 more explosions of lesser force were heard.

Then a fire broke out.

Representatives of the occupation "administration" cowardly denied this information.
