The President of Turkey,

 Recep Tayyip Erdogan

, expressed the opinion that

there can be no winners in war, and no losers in the world.

Erdogan said this at the opening of the TRT World Forum.

"Turkey's diplomatic efforts on Ukraine are based on the idea that there can be no winners in war, and there can be no losers in the world," he said.

Erdogan emphasized that Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine is causing serious political, economic and humanitarian damage to the entire world.

According to him, Ankara supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but opposes the irrational policy towards the aggressor Russia.

"We spoke out against inciting contradictions in the region through "unthinkable policies" directed at the Russian Federation," the Turkish leader noted.

It will be recalled that Erdogan said that he intends to talk by phone with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on December 11.

The talks will focus on the food crisis,

says the Turkish president.
