Hearty laughter rang out in the hall, and the credits of the film were accompanied by loud applause from the audience.

The main character of the film, Vlada Koza, sells her house in the Carpathians and flies to sunny Sicily to live with her daughter and help take care of her grandson.

But it turns out that no one was waiting for her mother's arrival... After a quarrel with her daughter, Vlada accidentally ends up at the villa of the once powerful Italian mobster Don Fredo, now a widower who is going through deep personal, family and financial crises.

Vlada gets a job as a cleaner, but becomes the savior of this house: a mother for Don Fredo's children and a reformer of the old, ineffective and, most importantly, inhumane mafia.

"I hope you have all forgotten, at least for a little bit, what period we live in. I didn't think that the picture would be released now. But for some reason I have the feeling that right now is the time for it. This is such therapy. The first screening was in Frankivsk, it was visited by many immigrants who after watching thanked them and said that they felt a little better. These are such children's emotions. For me, this film is naive - exactly the kind that is lacking nowadays. It has a very correct message: the family is together - and that wonderful," commented Irma Vitovska.

The actress also shared with the audience several interesting stories related to the shooting of the film comedy.

Yes, it turns out that in one of the scenes that was filmed in the market, real Italian merchants played.

In the break between filming, they shouted "Viva Ukraine".

The Italian actress of Ukrainian origin Yulia Sobol appears in the film, she played Vlada Koza's daughter Maria on the screen.

In both versions of the comedy, both in Ukrainian and in Italian, there are dialects: Hutsul (Vlada Koza is from Verkhovyna) and Sicilian (in addition to the fact that most of the events take place on the island, the majority of the actors are from Sicily).

"They say that in dark times you can see bright people better. This is definitely about Irma Vitovska. "Cosa Nostra.

"Mama is going" is very light, with Irma's signature humor. It is one hour and forty minutes of light. And light is needed by everyone today. From all sources," Svyatoslav Vakarchuk shared his impressions after watching.

"Cosa Nostra. Mama Goes" is the first Ukrainian film comedy to be released nationwide in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

The film about the adventures of a courageous, strong and slightly crazy Ukrainian woman is in all open cinemas in the country.
