Bulgarian diplomacy should demand that at least the land borders urgently come under the Schengen regime.

If that doesn't happen either - we can block the Dutch candidacy for director of Frontex.

With this advice, VMRO comes out after today's decision of the Council of the EU to refuse Bulgaria's entry into the Schengen area.

The position of the Council of Europe is unacceptable and is subordinated to purely behind-the-scenes economic and domestic political interests.

The Netherlands and Austria are simply the mouthpieces of the EU's behind-the-scenes and hypocrisy, the organization said.

They rejected Bulgaria's entry into Schengen

Here is the entire position of VMRO regarding Bulgaria's non-admission to Schengen:

"From now on, there are several paths for Bulgarian diplomacy - to request a new examination of the candidacy within the framework of the Swedish presidency already at the beginning of next year, with the condition that at least the land borders are included in the Schengen regime, in order to facilitate the transport corridors and to ease Bulgarian business until the resolution of the other "controversial" issues. If this step is also refused, then our country has two more paths - to block the upcoming candidacy for director of "Frontex", which comes from the Netherlands, and also for Bulgaria to block the exchange of data in the Schengen information system.

Of course, these extreme steps will most likely have a response from the EU, but given that the political chaos of the last two years led to the complete political isolation of our country in Europe and thus strengthened even more Euroscepticism among the Bulgarian people, there are no other mechanisms left. .

After today's decision, it is clear that Schengen remains a distant mirage anyway.

And the hypocrisy on the part of Brussels shone with its full force.

Do we have anything to lose from a tougher tone and action after being left as cannon fodder to defend Europe's external border, which said "Welcome!" to illegal migrants and then decided to leave "bad" Bulgaria alone fight them?

Hardly!

Otherwise, it is clear who is to blame for today's apparent isolation of Bulgaria in Europe - 2 years of powerlessness and liberal experiments, political chaos and disunity in society lead to the impossibility of achieving national goals.

The last four parliaments have produced countless scandals and not a single law that benefits the state.

All these political subjects, who today are fighting and fighting to get to power, left the Bulgarian policemen, border guards and military to deal with the unprecedented situation on the border with Turkey.

For a year and a half, we at VMRO have been warning about the problems along the border, which are now used as a pretext and justify the economic interests of Austria and the Netherlands.

But when politicians smear each other, forgetting their main tasks, even diplomats are brought to their knees and forced to remain shamefully silent.

Well, now they have the chance to speak!".
