Vezhdi Rashidov is a Bulgarian sculptor, the minister of culture in Boyko's office met with the president of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, the press center of the parliament reported.

The Speaker of the National Assembly emphasized that Bulgaria and Greece have had friendly and benevolent relations for many years.

The established relations of friendship groups in the two parliaments also contribute to this, he pointed out and extended an invitation to organize a meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Greece.

The President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, emphasized that she was happy to meet the Speaker of the National Assembly, whom she knew to be a world-renowned sculptor.

She pointed out that in the conversations during the meetings held during her official visit to Bulgaria, they confirmed the healthy relations and friendly ties between the two countries.

The Greek president recalled that after the events in Ukraine, the relations between the two countries have expanded in the field of energy, which is of strategic importance for the entire region and for the European Union.
