UNIQA employees from the countries of the SEE region, which consists of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro, joined the first joint initiative to protect the environment where they live and work by planting a tree each for each of the 1,700 employees in the region and a further 2,500 saplings for all the people in the local community.

UNIQA Bulgaria employees joined the initiative, joining their colleagues from the countries in the SEE region, planting 2,100 oak saplings in an area near the village of Telish, Pleven region, as part of a joint initiative with the support of the Gorata BG foundation. 

The socially responsible reforestation initiative is inspired by the common values ​​and culture shared by all employees and follows the strategy "UNIQA 3.0 - Planting the Future" with a focus on investing in the community, sustainable development and promoting environmental protection.

At the same time, it symbolizes a successful future, growth and long-term investment in the region of Southeast Europe, which constitutes the third largest group of companies in UNIQA International.
