Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, believes that Russia could have relocated the Tu-22M bombers from the Diagilevo airfield in the Ryazan region, fearing new "misfires".

He said this on the air of the Freedom TV channel.

"From a military point of view, this is called the dispersion of forces and means of attack. That is, they have either moved to another airfield, where an incendiary can arrive. The Russian Federation has airfields in the east of Russia. But not every airfield can receive them, because every plane needs constant maintenance, there are always a large number of people near him. Russia wants to keep its bombers," Ignat said.
