[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] The Ukrainian-Russian war will enter its 10th month. The Russian army has recently suffered major setbacks and even had to withdraw from Kherson.

In this regard, Russian President Vladimir Putin still does not show weakness, emphasizing that the war against Ukraine will be a long process, and also warned that the risk of nuclear war is rising.

"Reuters" reported that Putin talked about the Ukrainian-Russian war in a videoconference with the Human Rights Council on Wednesday local time.

"With regard to the timing of special military operations, of course, it will be a long process," he said.

Putin also mentioned that half of the previously mobilized 300,000 people have been deployed in Ukraine, 77,000 people have entered combat units, and the rest are still in training centers, so there is no reason to mobilize further. Additional mobilization measures are unjustified."

Putin said Russia was viewed by the Western world as a "second-class country" with no right to exist, saying the Russians would use all available means to defend themselves.

He also said the risk of nuclear war was rising, but Russia would not recklessly threaten to use such weapons.

He stressed that Russia had achieved "significant results" by acquiring new territories in so-called special military operations.
