Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the European Union's (EU) special representative for the South Caucasus and Georgian crisis, Toivo Klaar, in Yerevan.

APA reports with reference to "Sputnik Armenia" that normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia, rights of Karabakh Armenians and security assurance were discussed at the meeting.

Pashinyan and Klaar discussed issues of peace and security in the region, the delimitation of Azerbaijan and Armenia and the opening of roads.

The activities of the EU civilian mission in Armenia were also touched upon in the meeting.
