The new budget for culture is set to be BGN 383 million.

This was said by the Minister of Culture Prof. Velislav Minekov

Velislav Minekov is a professor at the National Academy of Arts (NAA).

He finished his education at today's meeting of the parliamentary committee on culture and media.

"With an unused budget, I cannot ask the Minister of Finance to increase the budget. How can I ask for money when we are returning money," he commented. 

Minekov went to Skopje for the opening of the new Bulgarian cultural center

"For seven months, this ministry has not received a single order under the Law on Public Procurement," the minister also said, quoted by BTA.
