Gujarat Election Results 2022 Live Updates: The counting of votes for the Gujarat assembly elections is going on.

The counting of votes for the Gujarat Assembly elections began this morning amid tight security at 37 polling booths in the state in the presence of observers appointed by the Election Commission of India.

On the other hand, if we talk about the initial trends, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is currently leading.

After BJP, Congress is at number two and AAP is at number three.

Meanwhile, the national spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Zafar Islam had a special conversation with NDTV.

During this, he has made a big claim. 

He said that this time in Gujarat (Gujarat Election) we are moving towards the biggest victory ever.

That's why he said, we estimate that we will be able to win more than 149 seats.

At the same time, while talking about Himachal Pradesh elections (Himachal Election 2022), Zafar Islam said, our assessment is that this time in Himachal Pradesh also the convention will change and BJP will be the first party after 1985 to return to power again.

Along with this, BJP's national spokesperson Zafar Islam has said that before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, our hands will be strengthened by the performance of BJP in these elections.

Let us tell you that on December 1, voting was held on 89 seats in the first phase in Gujarat and on 5 December in the second phase of elections, 93 seats were held.

The Bharatiya Janata Party had fielded candidates for all 182 seats and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for 181 seats.

Whereas, the main opposition Congress contested 179 seats and its ally Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) contested two seats.

This year, 66.31 percent votes were cast in Gujarat, while in 2017, 71.28 percent polling was held.
