, on the left bank, one of the utility generation facilities is being repaired, so for now the residents receive only 30% of their electricity needs.

It takes weeks to restore generation.

This was announced by the executive director of DTEK, Dmytro Sakharuk, on the air of the telethon.

"We have problems with non-working generation facilities on the left bank, which do not produce enough, or do not work at all due to destruction. And before the war, let's say, it was a source of power. Therefore, we are trying to increase the power that is redistributed to the left bank." , - said Saharuk.

According to him, the deficit has been reduced.

Sakharuk expressed hope that within two or three days, it may be possible to increase the amount of power.

"Perhaps it will be easier on the weekend," added the director of DTEK.

He emphasized that it is important to reach the same shutdown schedules that operate on the right bank of Kyiv - 4 hours after 5. For this, Saharuk says, it is necessary not only to restore networks, but also to restore generation on the left bank.

"This is not a matter of days, but of weeks, which are needed to recover. As for the increase in capacity, I think it can be resolved quite quickly. And for this, the unification of both local authorities and generating capacities is required," Saharuk added.

We would like to remind you that the Kyiv region cannot yet

return to the planned power outage schedules

due to a significant power deficit in the power system.

The authorities are working with Oblenergo and DTEK to make the distribution of electricity in the region fairer.
