New details have become known about the tragedy that happened to Cherkasy policemen in the Kherson region yesterday.

We will remind, on December 7, near the village of Fedorivka, Kherson region, during stabilization measures, law enforcement officers

left by the occupiers.

Four policemen died, four more were injured.

As sources in the National Police told

, law enforcement officers were returning from a combat mission on foot and detonated a high-explosive bomb made from large-caliber artillery ammunition.

The head of Cherkasy police Mykhailo Kuratchenko, explosives technician Ihor Melnyk, dog trainer Serhiy Nenada and the youngest among them - the assistant of the regular SRPP of the Uman district police department, Vadym Perizhok, died.

The latter was only 24 years old.

"Local residents reported an ammunition cache that was left behind by the occupiers. The law enforcement officers demined it and were returning back," says Zoya Vovk, spokeswoman for the police of the Cherkasy region. two of them, our colleagues from Cherkasy,

According to the police, Mykhailo Kuratchenko has two young daughters, and the dog trainer also has two children.

The youngest only recently got married

The youngest of the dead, 24-year-old Vadym Perizhok, was just starting his family life - he got married in the spring of this year.

Before he joined the police, he worked as an IT officer in the Monastirishchen District Court of the Cherkasy Region.

Yuliya Zhezher, head of the court, said this in a comment for TSN.ua.

"Our court became the first place of work for Vadym Perizhko. He was the chief specialist in information technology, he worked for us for four years, then he decided to change his profession and joined the ranks of the police," the head of the court told us. "Vadim was a person with an incredible soul, he cared a lot about his little sister. His death is a great grief for his parents, he was their only hope in life. It is known that Vadim's brother died at one time. Vadim himself

Yuliya Zhezher recalls that Vadym Perizhok was a person who would always come to help.

"I also remember how he came to get a job at our court at one time," says Yuliya Zhezher. "Then he had no experience yet, but he said that he really wanted to work. He said that he didn't even need money . He added that he wanted to declare himself and show himself. He studied for about three months, joined the team. I told him then: "Vadim, who knocks - that's why they open." He was guided by this rule in his life. For a long time he tried to get into to the police, was very stubborn in the good sense of the word. He had ambitious plans for life, constantly worked on himself. While working at the court, he studied at two higher educational institutions at the same time, now he was finishing another one."
