Future Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Benjamin Netanyahu was born on October 21, 1949 in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is an Israeli politician and today asked for a 14-day extension of the deadline to form a government because of delays in agreeing the roles of the coalition partners, BTA reported, citing a statement from his Likud party.
The request was made in a letter to Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog, who gave Netanyahu 28 days to form a government after Likud and its likely coalition partners from the religious nationalist parties won the November 1 election.
That deadline expires on Sunday.
