[Reporter He Yuhua/New Taipei Report] The MRT Engineering Bureau of the New Taipei City Government pointed out today (8) that the feasibility study report of the Shenkeng Light Rail MRT has been submitted for review 11 times, and finally passed. It will be revised according to the review opinions and submitted to the traffic as soon as possible The Ministry of Finance agreed to transfer it to the Executive Yuan for deliberation, and actively strive for the approval of the Executive Yuan.

The MRT Bureau stated that the feasibility study report of the Shenkeng Light Rail Transit was submitted for review for the 11th time. The Ministry of Communications today invited various central ministries, experts and scholars to form a committee to review and amend it. Send to the Ministry of Communications to the Executive Yuan for approval. After approval, comprehensive planning, environmental impact assessment and urban planning changes will be processed. After the comprehensive planning report is approved, it is expected to be completed in 6 years. At that time, Shenkeng residents will be provided to go to Shuangbei City, saving about 10-15 minutes.

The Shenkeng Light Rail MRT line starts from the north side of the Zoo Station on the Wenhu Line. The route goes east along Xinguang Road, crosses Jingmei River, turns south and runs along the center of Muzha Road. After passing through the Muzha Interchange of National Highway No. 3, it runs along Wenshan Road and the south bank of Jingmei River. Continue eastward to Xile Bridge, then cross Jingmei Creek and head north to Beishen Road. The total length is about 5.8 kilometers. There are 5 stations planned along the line, connecting MRT Wenhu Line and Ring Road South Ring Section to New Taipei City Shenzhen Transportation services in the pit area, planning and improvement of transfer points and construction of low-carbon green living space.
