The President's Office reacted to the confession of Russian dictator Volodyr Putin, who for the first time after 9 months of full-scale invasion called the "special operation" a war.

Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the OP chairman, said that after today's statements by the head of the Kremlin, "the masks have been removed."

Podolyak wrote about this on Twitter.

"The masks have been dropped. Forget about "NATO provocations", "denazification" and other forgotten casus belli.

It will be recalled that the Russian president-dictator Vladimir Putin called the war in Ukraine a "war" for the first time and blamed Ukraine for it.

Moreover, he accused Ukraine of "ignoring Russia's interests in protecting the Russian-speaking population of Donbas."

He also said that the

so-called "SVO" could drag on for a long time.
