The court fined the mayor of Chernihiv Vladyslav Atroshenko and deprived him of the right to hold public office for actions in conditions of a real conflict of interests.

This was reported to the NAZK.

Thus, on December 7, the Yavoriv District Court of Lviv Oblast ruled that Atroshenko acted in conditions of a real conflict of interest when, in August 2022, he ordered his driver to take his wife's Tesla Model X car abroad.

"The official acted in the conditions of a conflict of interests, because

the driver provides transportation services for the mayor exclusively within the scope of his official duties

," the message states.

So the court found the mayor of Chernihiv guilty of an administrative offense and fined him 

UAH 6,800

.

Atroshenko is also deprived of the right to hold positions related to the performance of functions of the state or local self-government for a year.

We will remind, on December 1, NABU detectives informed the People's Deput of the 8th convocation of suspicion of illegally receiving more than UAH 700,000 in compensation for housing.

For almost four years, the politician received rent compensation, having his own apartment in the Pechersk district of Kyiv.
