At the invitation of the Head of State, Rumen Radev, the President of the Republic of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, will pay a state visit to our country.

The subsequent deepening of the strategic partnership in various areas such as the economy, energy, culture and tourism, as well as the cooperation between Bulgaria and Greece in the EU and the region of South-Eastern Europe, are expected to be among the highlights during the meeting of the two presidents.

Nevsky" Rumen Radev will welcome Katerina Sakellaropoulou with an official ceremony.

The President of Greece will pay his respects in front of the Monument to the Unknown Warrior.

From 10:30 a.m. at "Dondukov" 2, the two presidents will hold a "four eyes" meeting, after which the plenary talks between the official delegations of Bulgaria and Greece will take place.

At 11.45 a.m. in a ceremony in the Coat of Arms Hall, the Head of State Rumen Radev will award the Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou with the Stara Planina Order with a ribbon for her services to the development of bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Greece.

After the ceremony, Presidents Radev and Sakellaropoulou will make joint statements to the media, the press office of the Presidency announced.  

Within the framework of the visit of the head of state of Greece, meetings are planned with Prime Minister Galab Donev and with the Speaker of the National Assembly Vezhdi Rashidov.
