The Dar es Salaam Special Zone Police force is holding a businessman on suspicion of killing Salum Ally who was his bodyguard whose body was found in Kibaha Misugusugu.

This statement was made yesterday by the Special Zone Police Commander of Dar es Salaam Muliro on Tuesday Muliro when he was explaining how the police force had planned to ensure security and safety during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Muliro said on November 20, this year around five o'clock in the night, the police received information that Andron Mendez had fired a shot in his yard in the area of ​​Tegeta Scansanca, Kinondoni.

He said that after the incident, information was found about one person missing and his whereabouts unknown, an investigation was conducted and it was found that the security guard Ally was not seen from that day until December 2, this year when his body was found dumped in Kibaha Misugusugu and he died.

"The investigation by the Police Force revealed that Andron Mendez and his colleagues were involved in the murder incident and went to throw the security guard where he was, the investigation is being completed and the suspects will be brought to court as soon as possible" he said

Along with that, he said that towards the New Year's celebrations, the police force is ready to fight against people or groups of vandals who are planning to do vandalism in this area and anyone involved will be dealt with according to the law.
