"Earthquake Reporting-Central Meteorological Bureau" stated that in order to avoid the warning messages of small and medium-sized earthquakes and no serious risk of disaster causing confusion to the public, the Meteorological Bureau has set two conditions for the issuance of "National Alerts", namely "Estimated Earthquakes" Scale 5.0 or above” and “Estimated earthquake intensity is above magnitude 4”, and the above two conditions must be met before an alert is issued.
