Despite the colossal work of energy workers, it is currently impossible to restore the power system by 100% after the Russian attacks.

This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi in a traditional video message late on December 7.

Zelenskyi emphasized that the energy front is "a permanent item on our agenda - both at the Stavka and at the government level."

"We are constantly increasing the generation and supply of electricity - we are adding more volume almost every day. But we should not forget - and everyone should not forget - that restoring 100% of the energy system, as it was before the beginning of the Russian energy terror, is now impossible.

It takes time. That is why in most cities and districts, shutdown schedules are kept

," he said.

According to him, as of the evening of December 7, the most outages were in Kyiv and the region, in Lviv Oblast, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Poltava Oblast, Vinnytsia Oblast, Zhytomyr Oblast and Zakarpattia.

"And I thank all our energy workers, repairmen, businesses, workers of communal enterprises and local authorities, who are doing everything possible to ease the situation for people," added the leader of Ukraine.
