In the Chernivtsi region, power lines froze, which is one of the reasons for additional emergency power outages.

This was announced by the head of Chernivtsi OVA Ruslan Zaparanyuk.

"This is what power lines look like in Chernivtsi region today.

Due to humidity and frost, they have frozen

. JSC "Chernivtsioblenergo" informs that this is

one of the reasons for additional emergency shutdowns

. Because of this, in particular, shutdowns according to the schedule may differ from real ones," explained the head of the region.

He also urged not to forget about possible accidents on the lines, scheduled works in the networks and the Russian neighbor attacking Ukraine's energy facilities.

Zaparanyuk noted that energy workers quickly restore everything, working both day and night under any conditions.

We will remind you that on December 5, the Russian occupiers launched another missile attack on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, as a result of which emergency blackouts were introduced in a number of regions.

The situation was worst in Kyiv Oblast, Vinnytsia Oblast and Odesa Oblast.

According to Ukrenergo, several days are needed to restore the infrastructure in order to return to scheduled power outages.
