[Reporter Wang Guanren/Taipei Report] A 25-year-old man surnamed Huang and a 24-year-old man surnamed Fan, after checking into a hotel on Yanping South Road in Taipei City yesterday, did not show up until the check-out time today. In response, the staff finally opened the door with a key, only to find that both of them were apparently dead in bed.
The police were reported to have cordoned off the scene, but no signs of a fight were found. The police contacted the families of both parties based on the items left at the scene.
The Taipei City Fire Department received a report from the hotel staff this afternoon. The staff claimed that there were two hotel guests lying in the room without movement. When the ambulance personnel rushed to the hotel, they found that the two people's limbs were stiff and apparently dead.

According to the police investigation, when the two checked into the hotel yesterday, there was no abnormality, but after the check-out time at noon today, they did not come to check-out.
The staff called the room and no one answered. The staff went to knock on the door and there was no response. Finally, they opened the door with the key, and saw the two lying in the room without moving.
It is understood that the two fell on the bed and the floor of the room respectively. There were no signs of fighting or intrusion in the room. There were no injuries on the two of them, and there was no suicide note at the scene.
After contacting the family members of both parties, the police learned that the two met at the same workplace and had known each other for a long time. The police have now requested the prosecutor to examine the remains of the two to further clarify the cause of death.
