The German federal police conducted a special operation against the far-right group "Reich Citizens".

APA reports with reference to "Associated Press" that 25 people who were said to be members of the suspected group were detained in 11 of the 16 states of Germany.

It was said that some members of the group rejected Germany's post-war constitution and called for a coup d'état.

"Der Spiegel" announced that the operation was carried out in the barracks of the KSK, the German special forces, located in the city of Kalv in the southwest of the country.

It was reported that the military unit was previously under surveillance due to the participation of some military personnel in extreme right-wing movements.
