Military expert Oleg Zhdanov said that Ukraine, like Russia, is suffering losses in the war, especially in the battles currently taking place near Bakhmut.

Zhdanov said this on the air of his video blog.

"We suffer losses, in particular, near Bakhmut. By the way, there are very colossal losses. But

. By the way, two days ago, even The New York Times printed that in one day near Bakhmut 240 of our servicemen were wounded, and medical institutions were struggling to cope with the flow of wounded coming from the front line," said a military expert.

"It's not surprising, because Russian artillery is working. And artillery is mostly shrapnel wounds, which is why there is such a huge number of wounded," added Zhdanov.

Regarding the number of casualties, he referred to the data of the adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Mykhailo Podoliak,

"Yes, we suffer losses, but I repeat, not as huge as the Russian Federation. Our losses are much smaller. According to the number of people killed since the start of the war in the nine months since the start of the war, the representative of the Office (of the President) Mykhailo Podolyak announced that we have the maximum number somewhere - about 13 thousand were killed during the entire military campaign," said a military expert.

Zhdanov also said why Ukraine does not officially indicate its losses: "It is not customary to talk about losses during hostilities. There is such a practice."

Thus, 510 Russian invaders were eliminated in the last day.

On November 30, Podolyak reported that the total number of Russian losses in the war was about 200,000, of which approximately 90,000 were killed.

According to OP adviser Oleksiy Arestovych, Ukraine's losses in the war amount to "from 10 to 20 thousand dead soldiers", besides there are tens of thousands of wounded.

At the same time, the spokesman of the President of Ukraine, Serhiy Nikiforov, previously stated that only the Commander-in-Chief, the Minister of Defense or the Commander-in-Chief should provide reliable information about the losses.
