"As of today, Alexander Morfov is the chief director of the National Theater. This is an administrative and good creative position of a unifier in the theater. I appointed him, it is within my power to fire him, but for this I must have reasons, not hypotheses. In March, we are expecting the premiere of his author's performance of the "Trojan Horse". When I invited Mr. Morfov to take the post, to enter my program, with which I applied to be the director of the National Theater, he accepted."

This is what the director of the National Theater, Vasil Vassilev, told BNR.

And he emphasized that there is no conflict situation between him and Morfov.

"Such a situation exists between one employee and another employee... We must avoid the political aspect of things. Here we touch on two important topics - what are the official duties of the team and what are the civilian positions outside the theater. These things should not be mixed ".

In the program "12+3", the director of the National Theater pointed out that every artist has his own specifics, but he is not to blame if he confided in someone.
