In Germany, a 72-year-old woman was arrested for twice disconnecting her 79-year-old roommate from the ventilator.

All because her sound annoyed her.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted manslaughter.

Police and prosecutors said in a statement that the suspect turned off her 79-year-old roommate's ventilator, despite staff saying it was vital to the patient.

It is reported that after this the victim had to be resuscitated, and although her life is not in danger, she still needs intensive care.

The suspect was brought to court, from where she was then taken to prison.

She promised to send him intimate pictures, but never did.
